Top 10 Sephora Favorites

I am an absolute beauty product fanatic. I love experimenting with new projects, and I am always watching YouTube videos on how to best apply makeup. A blogger that I look up to for everything beauty is Emily Gemma, TheSweetestThing. She actually does monthly Sephora hauls and she tries between 40-50 products a month! I personally have very acne prone skin so I am very nervous to try new things. I also have combination oily/dry skin so I stick to products for YEARS once I find that it doesn’t cause my skin to breakout. I personally don’t go in the sun at all so my skin is very pale so if you are wondering why all my shades are so light in color. I wanted to share my top 10 beauty staples that I wear almost on a daily basis!

Foundation: Diorskin Forever Undercover Foundation: Shade015 Tender Beige – very light with neutral undertone

What it is: An ultra-fluid long-wear foundation that blends completely full coverage with a weightless texture for a natural finish that lasts. This foundation provides a matte coverage and it is good for normal, combination, and oily skin. This foundation lasts ALL day for me and provides me with an airbrush-looking texture. It doesn’t feel heavy on my skin at all and I don’t look oily midway through the day. It is on the more expensive side but honestly 1 bottle lasts me about 8 months. I have my sister hooked on this foundation as well.

Undereye Concealer: Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra Longwear Concealer, 1N – fair with neutral undertones

What it is: A medium to full coverage, weightless concealer that perfects, hydrates, and blurs with up to 12 hours of crease-resistant wear. I use this as my under eye concealer to hide dark circles to brighten my face. I use my beauty blender sponge to get into the inner corners of my eyes. It doesn’t crease at all and I only need a few dots for full coverage.

IT Superhero Elastic Stretch Lengthening Mascara

What it is: A volumizing and lengthening mascara clinically tested to stretch the look of lashes for wider, longer, and eye-opening results. The product has biotin and collagen and it makes me look like I have false lashes. It makes my lashes look super thick and full. It stays on ALL day and doesn’t flake off at all.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

What it is: This eyeshadow primer that ensures vibrant, crease-free wear for up to 24 hours. It is so important to use a primer on your eyelids when wearing eyeshadow as your eyeshadow stays in place all day. I use this every morning and I can fully attest that my eye makeup looks exactly the same when I leave for work and when I wash my face at night.

Eyeshadow: Urban Decay Naked3 Palette

What it is: An eyeshadow palette with rose-hued neutrals in ultra-smooth mattes, gorgeous pearls, and glimmering metallics for natural beauty looks. These palettes are really the OG. I have found them at Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom on sale. The palettes really allow you to transition from day to night with the colors provided. For work I stay on the lighter side and towards evening I add in the darker colors in the corners of my eyes. The colors are very pigmented so the palette has lasted me about 1 year. I also recently bought the Tarte Cosmetics palette set.

A little something extra for your eyes: Too Faced Crystal Whips Shimmering Liquid Cream Eye Shadow: Shade: Shimmering iridescent champagne

What it is: A shimmering, whipped eyeshadow packed with lightweight, reflective sparkle. I put this on the inner corner of my eye near my tear duct to provide sparkle. I love doing this to make my eyes pop for a date night, dinner, or a party. This sparkle doesn’t fall onto your checks. It’s suspended into a liquid formulation so you don’t need to worry about glitter falling all over your face.

Anastasia Sun Dipped Glow Kit

What it is: A glow kit with four metallic powder highlighters for intense luminosity. I mix the two lighter colors as my highlighter above my cheek bones, above my lip, and just a small bit on my chin. The darker colors I use as a bronzer which I blend into my hairline and accentuate my cheek bones. The colors are super pigmented so make sure to really blend the makeup well!

Dry Shampoo: Moroccan Oil Dry Shampoo Dark Tones

What it is: A dry cleansing spray formulated to absorb oil, buildup, and odor from dark hair without leaving a dull, chalky residue. I typically wash my hair everyday (I know this isn’t good to do) but when I want to curl my hair or need an up do I use this dry shampoo. You only need a few sprays at the base of your hair and your hair looks freshly washed. I have tried about 10 dry shampoos and I find that because this is made for dark hair I never have the white residue. My hair doesn’t feel like it has leftover residue it in at all.

Moisturizer/Skin Perfector: Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion

What it is: An oil-free moisturizer that offers lightweight hydration while minimizing the appearance of pores for smoother-looking skin. The lotion is extremely light weight and helps moisturize my skin. For me personally, my pores do look smaller, reduces breakouts in my skin, and my skin looks smoother overall. I put this on every night before I sleep!

T3 Single Pass Curl 1.25” Professional Ceramic Curling Iron

What it is: A ceramic curling iron that makes perfect curls everytime! The curling iron is ceramic so my hair doesn’t look frizzy at all. The 1.25” barrel is my favorite as I like a more blow out style and not tight curls. The curling iron has five adjustable heat settings (260-410°F) so it truly perfect for all hair types. I have very thick hair so it takes me about 10 minutes to get the perfect curl which is very fast compared to other curling irons I have used. I have had my curling iron for 3 years and it is still going strong. I would highly recommend a heat protectant for your hair though as this curling iron is very hot.
