I love a great statement coat for the winter time! I keep my coats for YEARS so I don’t mind investing in a coat or two every year. This year Carly got me the J Crew Velvet-trimmed lady coat in Italian wool for Christmas which I can dress up or down with high knee suede boots or cute flats once the weather gets a little warmer. Although the focus is on statement coats, the coat I wear every day would be Canada Goose. I have had mine for about 7 years and it still looks brand new. The price is an absolute shock, but trust me if you live in “teen” or below zero temperatures it will keep you very warm. I will likely keep mine for a total of 9-10 years before I replace it.
Wearing a size 8: Would recommend sizing up if you want to wear a sweater underneath
