Casual Wear: Best Sweat Sets

Out and About Outfit Ideas, or simply for lounging at home..

Yesterday, I went shopping, but it was not the usual shopping trip for me. Usually, I am the first one to bee line towards the latest designer bags and shoes — instead, I went for matching sweat suits — who am I? I’ve come to the conclusion, that I am no longer the person I used to be when it comes to fashion. Do I still love full tulle skirts, my sparkly Needle & Thread dresses, and my Manolo Blahniks — YES! But, is that realistically what I am wearing every single day? — NO! I’ve been in job roles that have always allowed me to work from home, and with the move to Seattle a little over a year ago, there is zero need for me to buy these designer items and sequin dresses anymore. I am not saying I never will buy these items again, but for right now, it makes zero sense to invest in something I will wear maybe once or twice. (my wallet thanks me)..

Also, we just bought a house — as Carrie Bradshaw would say, I’ve been, “Cheating on fashion with furniture..” Yesterday while I was walking through a couple stores, I was shocked by how nice some of the sweat sets were at a reasonable price — needless to say, I will be scooping up about half of the outfits below for a cozy and comfy Fall/ Winter season! Check out my pics below and what I’ll be ordering. Note, the items below — most of the sets, both the top and bottom together, are around $50!

Look forward to some instagram stories where I will be trying on a couple of these sets from the Gap! I should be getting the pieces hopefully at the end of the week!
